Shree Krishna Hospital

We provide subsidized treatment to underprivileged patients at our hospital for those who cannot afford high cost treatment for cardiac diseases and for patients suffering from cancer. We receive cases not only from Gujarat also from other states. The Cancer Centre at Charutar Arogya Mandal since its inception in 2004 has treated more than 10,000 patients. Over 4,000 patients are treated with radiation and around 5,000 patients with chemotherapy test with palliative modalities. During the financial year 2015-16, the Centre provided outdoor consultations to 13,341 patients. The number of patients that underwent radiation therapy was around 775, compared to 700 the previous year while the patients who underwent chemotherapy was 4,000 during the year compared to 3,300 in the previous year. The Cardiac Centre has experienced and well-qualified staff on board, and has in its eight years of operation, performed over 500 such surgeries with a remarkable success rate. In fact, the Centre now receives cases from all parts of Gujarat, and from neighboring states as well. A fixed subsidy of Rs. 15,000 is provided to each patient.
